IT was my pleasure to attend Commencement exercises June 6 to 10. I had a con- spicuous badge (see cut). I wore it on all occasions. Old and new friends asked "How many are living in your class?" I replied, "I am the only one left to represent the grand 87 Dartmouth spirit."

I am the present class agent and one of my duties is to collect funds for the annual drive. Due to the efforts of other agents in past years, 'B7 has been at the top in the past two or three years according to percentages.

Your secretary, at the age of 92 looks back on many commencements that he has attended. This year it did not rain, the temperature and weather was especially favorable. Because of my age, I was provided with a special guide to serve me during Commencement week. He tried hard to satisfy my every desire, to find my various oldtime friends and meet college authorities of today. Next year, he will graduate and will serve the honor of Dartmouth better than I could after I graduated, 70 years ago.

Dartmouth of today has a standing far ahead of what it was in my day. I rejoice to visit Commencement and see each year an advance of the College of yesterday becoming the College of tomorrow.

Together they celebrated their 110th Reunion: Frank B. Sanborn '87 of Cambridge, Mass., back for his 70th, and his son, Ralph Sanborn '17 of Hampton Falls, N. H., back for his 40th. Ralph is representative in the New Hampshire legislature from Hampton Falls, where his father was born 92 years ago.
