HOMEWARD BOUND
I have been on a long, long journey, That has taken years and years, To the unknown Land of Living, Where it rains both laughter and tears.
I came as a stranger, with little to give, But Ah, how kind the world I have known! A fortune in friendships, a job to do, And the love of my own.
And now, after a lifetime of living, I am nearing the journey's end, Thankful for every comrade, And grateful for every friend.
Shall I tell you the secret of all I have learned, In Life's journey of doing and daring? Happiness comes and happiness stays In sharing and sharing and sharing.

This is one reason for my having to refuse your kind invitation to the Fall Round-Up. And it's a wonderful reason! I'm sure this would be Father's idea of Heaven. (It's mine, too!) We sailed between jagged peaks, well powdered with snow. And last night we gazed with wonder at the sun -shining brightly at 11:30 p.m. ! !
The Worcester Sunday Telegram of June 1 carried the announcement of an unusually delightful double wedding anniversary in the Woodie Parker family of Hudson, Mass., to be held on June 4: Woodie and his wife Leila celebrating their 58th, and their son Lloyd L. and his wife Arline celebrating their 32nd. The class secretary and his wife, about a month later, called to find out all about this event but because they were not at home the story will be high on the program at the Fall Round Up.
The Merrill summer itinerary also included dinner with Arthur and Ann Stone, two calls on John Cassin and his wife, and an overnight visit with Mrs. Pearl Gilford. They went from Lebanon to Concord via Claremont in order to see Don and Louise Colby and Mildred Hurd. However, they had taken flight but here's hoping they will be at the Round-Up.
Please note that the Cassins have moved to Lebanon - 91-A Mt. Vernon Avenue. John hopes to celebrate his 91st at the Round-Up.
