Fulbright scholarships for study in Europe, Latin America, or the Asia-Pacific area are still available for the 1959-60 academic year and applications will be accepted until November 1. Eligibility requirements are U.S. citizenship, a Bachelor's degree, language ability sufficient to carry on the proposed study, and good health, with preference given to those applicants under 35 years of age. Candidates are expected to submit a preliminary plan of proposed study as well as a brief summary of their reasons for desiring study abroad.
Those interested should write the Institute of International Education, 1 East 67th St., New York 21, N. Y., for further information and application blanks. Requests for forms must be postmarked before October 15.
