The Dartmouth alumni group of Central Pennsylvania had two important meetings during the Christmas holidays. The first was a luncheon meeting in one of the private dining rooms, at the Harrisburger Hotel on Monday, December 30. Invited were high school and preparatory school boys who had completed applications to enter Dartmouth in 1958. There were present nine applicants, four undergraduates and seven alumni. We endeavored to answer questions and give adviceboth before and after the luncheon. The high point of the meeting was the new movie "Dartmouth Visited," that is, new to us. It did a better selling job than any of us.

That evening, the Central Pennsylvania group had its annual Christmas get-together in the ballroom of the Penn-Harris Hotel where we had an informal cocktail party and dinner dance. A smallish group of 40 alumni and undergraduates with their wives and dates made up in enthusiasm what they lacked in numbers. We are only sorry that more could not have been present for a. swell time.
