The Dartmouth College Glee Club, over 50 strong, entertained the Northeastern Ohio Alumni in concert at the Statler Hotel in Cleveland on April 5. We are happy to report that the evening was a sellout and our scholarship fund will be increased considerably by the proceeds. The committee formed for the concert and dance deserves a great deal of credit for its success. It was as follows; Chairman, Ralph G. Tyler '50; MerrittOsborn '50, William Ziegler '50, George R.Lezius '47, Joseph Hendrich '50, John B.Moore '40, and William C. Beutel '53. A special expression of thanks goes to Mrs. David Davenport for heading up the women's committee. The selling job she and her girls did was wonderful. The complete sellout was even more astonishing in view of the fact that Williams College held their tea dance on the same afternoon. Turnabout was fair play as Williamsmen supported the Dartmouth evening affair and, in return, the Glee Club's ten mobile "Injunaires" sung at the Williams afternoon dance.

An added feature of this year's concert was that it was taped by WGAR, one of Cleveland's oldest and most prominent radio stations, and will be aired a week later.

A dance in the main ballroom of the Statler concluded a gala evening. Many thanks to the Glee Club for their wonderful performance and to our Committee for mak- ing it such a success.
