Starting with the miscellaney for a change, word comes from Springfield, Mass., that John Bassette is a sales trainee for Pittsburgh Plate there. Also in the Springfield area is Fred Ceres who's in sales for the U.S. Envelope Company. Fred's residence is in Belchertown. Philadelphia claims Jim Keane who's presently a "plans and marketing man" for N. W. Ayer & Sons, Inc. Jim calls Merion Station home. Gerry Kleinman has settled in West Hollywood, Calif., and is associated with the law firm of Buchalter, Nemer, Fields & Savitch in Los Angeles. Another classmate located in Philadelphia is Ron Murphy. Ron's currently in Singer's training program there. Larry Nadler works as a salesman for the Relden Manufacturing Company in Montreal. Bruce Newman's a "bond buyer" in Denver.Ward Rowley can be found in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where he is a junior executive in the sales end of ESSO's South American subsidiary. Lee Spelke is with the Manufacturer's Trust Co. in New York as an administrative assistant. Lee's living in Jackson Heights. Bill Krasnow directed the Heart Fund drive in Laconia this year. Bill's a practicing lawyer in Laconia, and a member of the Chamber of Commerce there. BobMorton is still an active Thespian, currently directing a workshop class in drama at the "Neighborhood House" in Riverdale, N. Y. Dave Neville was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honorary society last December. Dave's completing his medical studies at the University of Rochester.
So much for non-nuptial notes, now for the inevitable climax of these monthly ramblings. Dick Cooper and Ellen Todd were married this past February in Quincy, Mass., Ellen's home. Jack Bryan was an usher at the ceremony. Dick and Ellen, a graduate of the Mass. General Hospital School, will reside in Buffalo, N. Y. JohnBarker and Dorothy McLaughlin were married late last December in Grand Island, Neb., Dorothy's home. Dorothy graduated from Cottey Junior College and the University of Nebraska.
Zsolt De Papp plans to marry Anne Wachenfeld this spring. Anne is a Sweet Briar alumna and a student-fellow in pathology at the University of Rochester Medical School.
Dan Nixon and Tamara Friedman announced their engagement this January. Dan is completing his final year at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School, and Tamara is a senior at Wellesley. Bob Perkins and Jane Hukill have made tentative plans for a July wedding. Jane is an Emma Willard alumna and has completed graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania. Bob recently graduated from the Wharton School of Finance.
Bill DeLana is engaged to Alice Mohler of Birmingham, a University of Michigan graduate. Bill is now a senior at the U.M. Law School.
John Demas and Mary Williams were married this past December in Barnesville, Ga. "Greek" is still stationed at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Ga., flying the C-124 Globemaster.
