Visiting Professor

PROFESSOR Louis Schneider of Purdue University will be Visiting Professor of Sociology at Dartmouth for the year 1959-60. His special fields are social stratification, the sociology of religion, sociological theory, and mass culture. He will teach a seminar in the sociology of religion in the fall term, and other courses in the winter and spring terms. His most recent major publication is Popular Religion, dealing with inspirational religious literature in the United States.
