"Husky" DeMerritt died of an unexpected heart attack in Tulsa July 24.
The 40th wedding anniversary of Dr. and Mrs. Arthur 1. Kinne of Holyoke, Mass., was celebrated June 2 when the couple entertained a group of friends and relatives at their home at 30 Cleveland St. The best wishes of his classmates is extended to them on this gala occasion.
A blue ribbon is due Eddie Luitwieler on the results of his endeavors for the i960 Alumni Fund. Thanks to Eddie 1912 was in No. 2 position in the Class Green Derby with a combined rating of 246, percent of objective 138% and total gifts of $7990.42.

"Doc" O'Connor's 1912 party in the Embassy Room of the Hotel Diplomat, Holly-wood, Fla., this past April was most successful and was enjoyed by Hazel, Betty Ann and Bee O'Connor as well as the Al Smiths, the Bill Lockes, the Ken Fosters, the Chet New-combs, the Bud Hobans, Mrs. Dick Plummer, Ben Adams and Mert Baker. Some of these '12ers hadn't seen each other since graduation. Bud Hoban said a most pleasant feature of the evening was a background of recorded Dartmouth songs by the Dartmouth Band which played thruout. It must have been a bang-up affair.
From the Long Island Press, Jamaica, N. Y., quote: "Richard Remsen o£ Garden City, L. I., was elected president of the Nassau Hospital Association's Board of Directors at their annual meeting in Mineola. Remsen, senior partner in a Manhattan law firm, is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Columbia Law School." Congratulations, Dick.
