The retirement date for Mr. Sargent was reported in error as June 30, 1960 in the Tuck Alumni Letter of August 1960. The correct date is June 30, 1961.
Mr. Quinn addressed the American Chemical Society Symposium on Research Planning on September 13 in New York City. His subject was "Research Planning as a Part of Total Planning."
The Board of Trustees of the American Hospital Association has appointed Mr. Olsen a member of the Department of Administrative Services Advisory Committee on the Hospital Counseling Program.
Mr. Griswold was chairman for the AMA Seminar on Appraisal of Capital Expenditures held at Colgate University.
Mr. Morrissey was an instructor in the Management Development Program given by Prof. George Taylor of Thayer School on The Analysis of Spending Decisions.
Of the new Faculty members, Mr. Guest presented a paper entitled "Managerial Succession—Two - Studies of Success and Failure," at the annual convention of the American Sociological Society, held in New York City, August 29. He also participated in a panel on "Effecting Changes in Complex Organization" before the American Psychological Association on September 7 in Chicago.
Mr. Volpp attended a seminar on "Statistics" held under the sponsorship of the Ford Foundation at Williams College in August.
Father Purcell is the author of a new book entitled "Blue Collar Man: Patterns of Dual Allegiance in Industry" published by the Harvard University Press as one of the Wertheimer Publications in Industrial Relations.
