STAFF PROMOTIONS

THE promotions of three administrative officers of the College were announced last month by Orton H. Hicks '21, vice president in charge of alumni affairs, development, and public relations. Nichol M. Sandoe Jr. '45 has been named Associate Director of Development, J. Michael McGean '49 has been named Associate Secretary of the College, and Alfred F. Bremble '56 has been named Assistant Secretary of the College. Their previous positions were, respectively, assistant director, assistant secretary, and assistant to the secretary.

Mr. Sandoe has been a member of the development staff since 1948. He became executive secretary of the Alumni Fund in 1951 and held that post until named Assistant Director of Development in 1957. Mr. McGean joined the staff of the Secretary's office in 1953 and was named Assistant Secretary of the College in 1957. Mr. Bremble has been assistant to Secretary Sidney C. Hay ward '26 since 1958 and for two years prior to that was with the Office of Naval Intelligence in Washington.
