A card and note from Clara and LeslieFarr told of their lovely summer at Rabbit Hill, Waterford, Vt. Clara is still handicapped by arthritis but does walk with the help of a wheelchair or walker and is much stronger. Clara, you have the best wishes of the class that 1960 will be a year of constant improvement health-wise. Harold Plumer writes that he and Ethel are to spend the holidays in Los Angeles with their daughter and granddaughters. On the way out stopped at Tucson for a few weeks to get away from the office and find out if "I am just an old Has been." That is one thing "Plum" will never be. Ethel wrote a P.S. that Harold was keeping a diary of the trip and if I would like a copy, will send one to me. You may expect a class letter on this. Plum's letters are always interesting.

Ethel Estabrook has confirmed the rumor about taking a cruise. She leaves New York February t, on the new liner "Rotterdam," going down the east coast of South America as far as Buenos Aires, then across the Atlantic to Capetown, up the east coast of Africa to the Red Sea and through the Suez Canal and Mediterranean to Athens, Naples, Lisbon and back to N.Y.C., April 16. Sounds most interesting and I hope Ethel will send material for a class letter.

A card from Gertrude and Karl Brackett advise they have had snow in New Hampshire but rain has melted most of it. They are expecting their family for Christmas and then go to Duxbury to avoid the winter weather of the North Country. Their older grandson is in O.C.S. and the other goes in early in 1960. Both boys were in Hanover for their college work.
