Your secretary had the pleasure of being in Hanover for The Dartmouth Convocation on Great Issues in the Anglo-Canadian-American Community. The Dalrymples, Wattie and Roy Merrill were also present. I wish all of you might have been there. It was a most inspiring and rewarding experience.

Ethel Plumer writes that after reunion she and Harold visited relatives in Dover, N. H., and Providence, R. I. Their daughter, Mary, and her family paid them a visit on their way to their new home in Los Angeles, Cal., where her husband, Palmer Robinson is opening a sales office for the Driver Company of Newark, N. J. In August Ethel visited their son George in Grand Teton National Park. Harold was too busy to go with her. He is one of the few members of the class who does not believe in retiring. At that time he had an office and a.' factory building under construction.

Herm Farwell advises their move to Connecticut has been beneficial for Elizabeth's health. For which we are all grateful. Their daughter Alice (Mrs. C. F. McCann) and Hermon Jr., visited them this summer. Junior is in the Air Force based near Sumter, S. C. Their older son, Fred, lives near them so they have frequent family "get togethers."

After a fine summer in New Hampshire, Marion and I were glad to get home on September 18.
