The second term has started and most of us feel as the little blonde secretary who remarked: "Vacations are nice, but it's nicer to get back to the routine so I can get caught up on my sleep."
"In memory of Dr. Ralph E. Miller and Dr. Robert E. Quinn and their courageous attempt to survive following the crash of their plane in the Pemigewasset Wilderness February 21, 1959, and in gratitude to the men of the Dartmouth Outing Club for their skill, devotion and perseverance in the long search ending May 6, 1959, this camp is presented by the doctors of the Hitchcock Clinic" reads the plaque in a new Dartmouth Outing Club Cabin in the College Grant near Diamond Peak.

We cannot acknowledge all of the highly appreciated Christmas cards which gave us so much pleasure during the holiday season, but we can pass on the incidental information scribbled on some of them. Bill Schumacher M'43 has left Columbia for Westport, Conn., where he practices psychiatry in a private mental hospital and just happens to live two blocks from an anchorage for his boat. Marietta and Warren Thamarus M'52 are back in Ann Arbor with their four youngsters after two years in the Navy, and Warren is teaching Pediatrics at Michigan. Ace Mueller M'52 has returned to Minnesota from California with Barbie and the three children, and is busy with surgery. Walt Vom LehnM'55 has taken Barbara and their two boys to (of all places) the Federal Reformatory for Women at Alderson, West Virginia - incidentally, he serves as Chief Medical Officer there, so it is not so bad as it first appeared.
