Dr. Louis Benezet '38, President of Colorado College in Colorado Springs, was our guest at luncheon on Friday, February 26.

The vicissitudes of a college president are many, none the least significant of which is the changing attitudes in students of college age. Gone apparently is some of the rah rah spirit and sense of identification with the school with replacement by wariness and calculated moderation of personality projection.

On a Thursday night two or three weeks ago, the Club had a jim-dandy smoker with movies at the University Club. Nobody at this writing has said he didn't have a good time. "Football Highlights" were shown and it was good to see the Big Green in action. Don McMichael '53 and his enrollment committee planned for this one, and Don reports a record number of applications to the class of '64 from our area with interviews in full swing.

We were glad to welcome Captain Robert Drawbaugh '54, newly come from Hickam Field and now at Lowry Field, teaching navigational instruction to the Air Force Cadets.
