It's hard to realize that by the time these notes are in print we shall have completed thirty years out of college and will be getting ready to celebrate that fact. In retrospect it seems such a short time in which so much has happened to all of us - and yet we are still doing things, as these notes well illustrate. On April 28 at the New York Dartmouth Club the Class held its annual spring dinner - no deadly serious speeches - enthusiasm for reunion - "and befitting our age practically everyone tried to get a fairly early train." Present were Borella, McDonough, General H. D. South, Barker, Ed Meyers, Seidman, Behal, Schuster, Bud French, Allyn, Blakey, Browning, Rinehart, Jim Mitchell, Fisk, Bob Blanchard, Kindermann, Van Derbeck. In addition the following couldn't stay for dinner — Hugh Johnson, Ted Wolf, Shaw Cole and Wally Wasmer. Four have sons graduating from Dartmouth this year - Johnson, Wolf, Cole, and Wasmer.

The sympathy of the Class is extended to Carll Buhler whose lovely wife passed away during April.

The New Hampshire Insurance Company at their recent annual meeting elected BillTruex Assistant Secretary. Bill is manager of the audit and engineering department of the company. In New Hampshire also, TomDunnington has been busy announcing his candidacy for the New Hampshire Senate this fall. Tom until a few years ago operated a hardware store in Dover, but has more recently been in the real estate business.

Word comes that on April 20-21 Jim Taylor, Vice President of Industrial Relations Counselor's Service, Inc., spoke at the National Petroleum Association meeting on "Constitution of the Refinery Work Force."

For those of you who live in New York vicinity get out the calendar and note on it that the next New York dinner will be the Thursday before the Yale game.

The New York Times of April 10 carriedthe news of the engagement of George Steers'daughter, Julie Ella. The future bride is asenior at Mt. Holyoke and her husband graduated from Yale.

Despite the advanced age of a class thirtyyears out of college we still move around agood deal. Here is the latest list of addresschanges as recorded by Hanover:

One thing we shall all look forward to at Reunion is to meet Hank Ekstrom's bride, Helen. We believe the ceremony took place June 1, 1957 and the couple are living at 194 Rawson Road, Brookline, Mass. This is all we know of the event.

We are sure that those of you who have followed the Olympic bridge tournament have noted frequently the name of SamStayman who has been playing on the Spingold One team.

Down in Pennsylvania where Herm Schnee-beli is running for the House, he got real publicity by calling in the shock troops in the person of Nelson Rockefeller to help the campaign along. We're sure it paid off.

And now as some of you read these notes you'll be wishing you'd made arrangements to go to Reunion. It's not too late - get Aunt Grace to baby sit, send the dog over to the neighbors, pack the car and be off! Everyone will be awfully glad to see you!
