Briefly Noted

A new book of poems by Dr. Franklin B. Jenness '99M has recently been published by the Naylor Company, San Antonio, Texas. Entitled Spindrift and Sagebrush, this collection of 25 poems deals with the sands of the desert and the life of the sea, comparing and contrasting the two. Dr. Jenness, a retired lieutenant commander in the Naval Medical Corps, has had three other books of poetry printed: Man o'War Rhymes, Sea Lanes, and Ocean Haunts. His work has appeared in several magazines and also in anthologies such as Texas Poets and Poets of the Lone StarState.
