It was so good to hear from Rufe Sisson again. He enjoys retirement with the summer home in Michigan, golf, and eleven grandchildren.

Ellsworth reports a complete file on Baker,Fuller, Gillis, Hunt, Starbuck, Underwood, and Watkins. Of the missing sixteen, we now need word on Bowie, Hathaway, Kreis,Reynolds, Sparhawk, Sutherland, Thurston,Thwing, Trottier, and Hutchins.

Sorry to be forced to do it this way but time is now at a premium. We have been trying to get your questionnaires in so that we can start on the next-of-kin contacts. This group should be more difficult, but that seems hard to believe. The Golden Book will never be ready for the 50th if your kind of support continues. As a last resort, here is the list of missing, by states, from JohnniePalmer's book: Campion, Hoyt, Reardon, Jones, Stiles, Teachout, Bergman, Brown, Dillingham, Johnson, Marceau, Welshe, Farwell, Cole, Fahey, French, Kehayas, Nichols, Robinson, Saltmarsh, Simanton, Webber, White, McM. Gaige, Junkins, Barke, Hastings, Thurman, Bentley, Howland, Hutchins, McLaughlin, Piane, Richardson, Woodman, Woodman, Haywood, Barsalaux, Griffith, Lyons, McLean, Sleeper, Warner, Smith, Fairfield, Littlefield, and Trott. That is the forty-five who are giving us a heck of a lot of trouble. Too many!

Allen Littlefield has had a touch of pneumonia but is getting on the mend. Charlie Batchelder got away for the South December 21, and will be at 17715 Gulf Blvd., Box 326, St. Petersburg 8, Fla., until it is certain to turn warm up here. He does not like it cold, and next year promises that the Journey will start no later than Thanksgiving.

The holidays were so much better with cards from so many of the Class.

Here's something different - no change of address reported.

Secretary, Box 83, Candlewood Isle, Conn.

Treasurer, 17715 Gulf Blvd., Box 326 St. Petersburg 8, Fla.
