The Dartmouth Club of Kansas City held its annual dinner for prospective candidates for the Class of '65 on December 21 at the University Club. The smoothly-running event was planned by Chairman Jack Schrage '39, with some help from Club President PaulO'Brien '39. Pete Barnes' '26 Enrollment Committee had a great string of candidates on hand for introduction, many of them accompanied by their fathers.

Kent Stockton '64 briefed the group on the feelings of a Dartmouth freshman at Christmas time in a sparkling little talk, following a word of welcome to all from President O'Brien and one of the new College movies aimed at entering men was refreshing to watch, even for us older hands.

Jack Barnes '61 brought the group up to date on the changes on campus as observed by an undergraduate, and his comments on the activities available to undergraduates helped to bring the alumni up to date as they stimulated the interest of the candidates.

We trust the efforts of the group will produce some high quality men for the new class, and we now look forward to the visit of Warner Bentley in February.

The Dartmouth Club of Kansas City held a special luncheon in December for all boys in its area who have applied for admission to the College next fall. Undergraduates, home for the holidays, were also invited to attend and to meet the candidates.
