The Enrollment Committee of the Dartmouth Club of Kansas City was especially pleased at the turn-out for Bob Blackman's visit on March 16. At noon of the day of the meeting we were still not sure Mr. Blackman would be able to get through the snows from St. Louis. He made it in time for an afternoon meeting with several candidates for entrance. Under the wing of Charles Yancey '46, Mr. Blackman was guided between snow piles from the afternoon meeting to a dinner meeting at the University Club attended by about 35 Dartmouth men and their wives.

The horrendous weather conditions limited the size of the gathering, but did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm typical of such a group watching films of Dartmouth beating Princeton. Bob's remarks helped to make the final three minutes of that game vivid. His report on the progress of the physical expansion program of the College was explicit and brought us right up to date.
