OCTOBER 1962 DONALD SISSON ’45, Gilbert G. Sykes

We are glad to announce that we have added the Passaic County Dartmouth men to our roster and extend to them our biggest Green Greetings to join in our gatherings in this and coming years.

Our Glee Club Concert of last March 30 is now a matter of history, but the results of our ex-president. Bob Allabough’s ’34, out- standing administration will last ad infinitum. Over 700 alumni and guests attended the Glee Club Concert, where Paul Zeller and his group were superb in both artistry and entertainment. Chuck Bruder ’28 was presented by Steve Kenyon ’22 the Dartmouth Club of Bergen County “1962 Award of Merit.” The DCBC Scholarship Fund was benefited by over $1,700, making it possible with our total available scholarship funds to start planning on issuing to some local boy scholarship on a regular basis a year from this fall. The boys from Hanover thought that Bergen County was one of the tops on their Glee Club trip.

Our new president, Wood DeYoe ’48 of Ridgewood, has his team in shape after four meetings of officers and trustees. Dart- mouth Night” will be celebrated informally on Friday October 5 at the Chimes Restau- rant on Route 17 at 7 p.m. Men of Dart- mouth are invited to drop in with wives for cocktails. Dinner is optional, reservations not required. So join us to recall experiences and celebrate in the true Dartmouth spirit.

We sincerely hope you have all had a good summer and that you will pay your dues promptly upon receipt of notification by Fred Wolf ’S3, our new treasurer and outstanding Glee Club ticket salesman from Wyckoff, N. J.

Secretary, 29 Louise Lane, Tenafly, N. J
