Alumni in Santa Barbara gathered on the beach of the Arroyo Burro County Park on June 29 for a barbecued shrimp and swordfish steak supper. Art Hoover ’62 reported on the latest news from Hanover including the recent commencement.

Alumni attending the gathering included Fred Long ’11, Mr. and Mrs. Wales Holbrook’24, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eskeline ’16,Mr. and Mrs. William Gahagan ’35, Dr. KevinFay ’39, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Landburgh’49, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Riley ’49, ArtHoover ’62, Henry Klinker and Eric Veblen, both 1964.

The New Haven alumni, outdoor-minded in the Dartmouth tradition, holding theirannual meeting. President Zeb White ’36 is addressing part of the membership.
