Plans for future activities are really popping in your Philadelphia Club. Many of them are still in the formative stages, including one which will have taken place by the time you read these words.
The one which is now "ex" was our Harvard game get-together for lunch, TV-viewing, and drinks at the Tread way Inn in St. Davids. Wish you were there! Then there's our Christmas "Dutch Treat" luncheon for undergraduates, their dads, and alumni on Thursday, December 27. We're working on an outstanding speaker.
For early 1963, things look great. Bob Hill '42, our able ex-Ambassador to Mexico (Castro had him on the assassination list), has said yes for our Annual Dinner (ladies invited). And President Dickey will be here on April 2 for a stag dinner preceded by enrollment and Alumni Fund workshops.
Read all about the details on these events, and other Philadelphia area alumni news, in our Club Newsletter. If you're among our 230 dues-paying members for 1962 or are new in the area, you'll get your copy of the Newsletter in the mail. If you're not getting it, you can still sign up — at half our annual dues rates.
Whether you've paid dues or not, we would like to have you join us any Monday shortly after noon for lunch at the Dartmouth-Princeton Club, 1223 Locust St. in downtown Philadelphia.
