This fall season has been one of true Dartmouth fellowship for our Club. We started off with a local celebration of "Dartmouth Night" on October 5, followed this with a bus trip to the Yale game in New Haven and finished the football season in fine style with the annual Princeton-Dartmouth Smoker on November 23, eve of the Indian-Tiger game. The Smoker was held at the Joe Jefferson Club in Saddle River, and featured an informal talk by Seaver Peters'54 who gave his observations of the Dartmouth team. Pete was a spotter for CBS-TV at the Harvard game.
Plans are now under way for the Annual Spring Dance at the Ridgewood Country Club on April 27. John Hoffer and his quintet will furnish the music and entertainment. This is always a well-attended affair and is one of the high points in our Club's year. Details next month.
Don Sisson '45, Secretary of our Club, represented us at the annual meeting of the Club Officers Association in Hanover in September. Don was elected to the Executive Board of the Association. Congratulations, Don. Gene Bokor '46 of Tenafly was made Newsletter Editor of his class. Always an active man in our Club, Gene takes up his duties as head of the "Tomahawk."
