It is now certain that President Dickey will be the guest speaker at the Annual Meeting, Saturday evening, March 17. A workshop concerned with enrollment matters has been arranged by Don McKinlay '37 and Don McMichael '53, and this will occupy the afternoon hours that precede the evening's festivities. Mr. John Dodd '22 and Clifford L. Jordan '45 will also be on hand, representing the current Alumni Fund effort.

In order that there be no conflict between stomach and mind the afternoon of the 17th, all alumni in the Denver area who had considered having a few friends in for cocktails prior to the dinner are urged not to do so - after all, what's a glass of Elderberry Blow compared to the enticements of exchange of thought on enrollment mechanics and philosophies? Write this important March date on your celluloid cuffs.

Threadneedle Street Notes: Two of the Dartmouth alumni from Denver banking circles have recently been given advanced standing and notice is hereby taken. Neil Roberts '35 is now president of the Denver National Bank, and Bob Priester '49 holds a vice presidency spot. We admire them and the folding green they serve.

Luncheon activities were conducted before a select group who ate well if not too wisely, and then listened and looked as Mr. Robert Cameron, Director of Denver's Urban Renewal program, informed us as to the efforts being made to rehabilitate the downtown areas of our city. This is no lightsome task, involving as it does the U. S. Government, the state and city, and the individual homeowner who must conform and improve or else. The barn doors are being closed but luckily a few horses still remain.

Among those present at this postprandial Chautauqua were Jim Skinner '53, BobMontgomery '56 and Roy Nyren '55.

Also on hand for the first time was DaveMartin '54 of Hastings, Neb., now editor of the University News Service at the University of Colorado.

And so to press - late as usual.

Secretary, 170 Marion St., Denver, Colo.
