On Thursday, April 26, the Dartmouth Club of Central Pennsylvania held its regular annual meeting. Thirty five alumni and friends of Dartmouth gathered at the beautiful Country Club of Harrisburg for a delightful evening of good fellowship and good food. .

The chairman of the nominating committee. Harold Van Riper '14, assisted by Richard E. O'Daniel '35 and John F. Page '39 presented the following slate of officers the coming club year: Robert K. Staz 57, President, A. James Kreider Jr. '52, Vice President, Douglas G. Hoskins Jr. '54, Secretary-Treasurer. Their recommendations were followed and these officers were quickly elected.

Kenneth R. Mac Donald '30, our National Enrollment Committeeman, gave a report on applications and acceptances for the class of 1966 and expressed his appreciation for all the time and effort expended throughout our district by alumni interviewers. Malcolm Robinson '57 related some of his amusing experiences as local Enrollment Chairman.

Doug Hoskins Jr., Secretary and Treasurer, gave a resume of club functions for the past year and then John Page, serving his second year as Alumni Councilman, gave a report of his activities in that capacity, followed by some of his impressions of the direction of the College.

Our business out of the way, the floor was turned over to our main guest and featured speaker, John W. Masland, Provost of Dartmouth. John gave a very informative talk on the future of Dartmouth which was well received by all those in attendance. His formal remarks were followed by a lively question and answer period.

The food was particularly good as FrankF. Davenport Jr. '38, local restaurateur, was caterer for the affair through a firm which he recently organized. Frank received many congratulations throughout the evening for his cuisine.
