The Dartmouth Alumni Association of Northern California and Nevada gathered a large group of sixty or more for Dartmouth Night. An enjoyable dinner for all at Venetos in San Francisco preceded the featured speaker, Mr. Henry K. Norten '05, who entertained all present with recollections and observations gained through his many active years, both as a Dartmouth student and an alumnus, and later as a nationally recognized businessman and author.
Following closely on the heels of Dartmouth night, a turn-out of nearly fifty men at a regular weekly luncheon meeting (thanks to the efforts of Art Young '46) was ample evidence for Eddy Chamberlain '36, our guest from the College, that alumni in this area consider enrollment activities an area of prime importance. The overflow crowd greatly appreciated Eddy's observations and comments on the College's enrollment program.
The club continues to meet each Thursday noon at the Flytrap Restaurant where groups in excess of twenty persons are becoming the rule instead of the exception. We cordially welcome any visitors to the San Francisco area to these regular weekly luncheons.
