On January 3, 96 Dartmouth alumni and their guests, including several prospective freshmen for next fall, gathered at the Palace Hotel for lunch and to hear Coach Bob Blackman summarize the 1962 football season and watch the film highlights of all games. The crowd was somewhat of a record for lunch and attests to the closeness which local alumni have followed the Big Green in 1962.

In addition to President John Clow '52 and Coach Blackman at the head table, there were Club Vice President Art Young '46, Alumni Counselor Dave Smith '35, past Alumni Counselors Ritchie Smith '26 and Lincoln Wilson '13, Club Secretary Gene Carver '5O and National Enrollment Chairman Peter Zischke '52. Chub Feeny '43, Vice President of the San Francisco Giants, added a touch of baseball to the gathering.
