The Nashua Club celebrated the holiday season with a stag steak luncheon on December 27, at the Nashua Country Club. About 40 alumni, undergrads, prospective '67's, dads and other friends were on hand to celebrate the end of the first term, departure of St. Nick, completion of Scholastic Aptitude Tests - and other assorted causes!!
The luncheon provided a get-acquainted time for all. Undergrads present included Pete Rotch '63, Art Jean Jr. '65, Dave Spring '66, Jim Everett III '66 and Dave Currier '66. This group provided current views of the Hanover scene to Carl Goodwin, Gene Tabor, Bill Neville, Joe Carlton and John Everett — all hopeful of going to Hanover next September. Steve Tracy '27, our Club interviewing chairman, was introduced to the meeting. He acquainted our prospective '67's with the committee visits in the next few months.
After luncheon, introductory remarks and several Dartmouth songs from Dave Spring '66 at the piano, the meeting viewed the movie "The Russians," filmed on location last spring by a Dartmouth student. We commend this film to all Dartmouth groups!
Our senior members were again well represented with Arthur Wallace '00, Ben Prescott '00, Al Terrien '04, Arthur Bolster '04, and Tom Leonard '10 present. Jay Anderson '52 of the Boston Club (North Shore) was also with us.
