Sixty-three undergraduates, dads, alumni, and guests were on hand for our annual Christmas Dutch Treat Luncheon on Thursday, December 27. Harry Dunning '30, president of Scott Paper Company, gave a talk, both thoughtful and emphatic, on "Business Bogeymen."

This is the second time within a few months that we've given the staff at the Dartmouth (we pay rent)-Princeton (they own it) Club convulsions over a turn-out which swelled the upstairs dining room until its seams were bursting. If the number present at these affairs continues to grow, we'll be happy to go elsewhere.

By now, all of you should have received some mail from us soliciting you for dues and asking you to hold Friday evening, February 15, for our Annual Dinner. As for dues, we can use the support of all of you for an active program. We regret that all mailings can go to only those who do pay dues; otherwise, we'd be broke.

We promise you a gala affair for the Annual Dinner. If it's good food and drink you're seeking, we guarantee that the Germantown Cricket Club will provide it. If it's a stimulating speaker, Bob Hill '42, ex-Ambassador to Mexico, will give you some solid thoughts on Latin America to chew on. If it's tripping the light fantastic with your bride or date, we've got an orchestra all signed up. If it's fellowship, this is Dartmouth. ...

All of this (except the drinks) comes for $5 a head, or only $4 a head if you're less than five years out, thanks to a generous subsidy from the Club treasury.
