Mr. Quinn has been appointed consultant to a special committee for the Assistant Secretary of Defense. The committee's function is to rewrite the armed services' procurement regulations as they pertain to research and development.

Richard T. Bechtolt, economist for the Standard Oil Company of New Jersey, visited Tuck on January 9 and met with both sections of the Accounting and Finance course. He also met with the second-year students and the faculty for a discussion of the background, asset choices, and financial decisions associated with construction of the South European pipeline.
Harry Garland T'21, vice-president of the National Bank of Plymouth County, Brockton, Mass., has retired after eleven years with the bank. Prior to 1951 Harry was with the George E. Keith Company for 28 years.
