DARTMOUTH winter sports are approaching the halfway mark, and after what could be termed a sunny start, the long, cold winter has settled in again. Since our last report the basketball team has won two games and lost five, and the Indian sextet has dropped three in a row to even its season's record at 3-3.
On the brighter side, the Indians still boast of two undefeated teams, with the squash team now 3-0 and the wrestlers 2-0. And of course the ski team must be considered strong, once carnival competition gets underway in February.
The sports highlight for January was the Alumni Council-Athletic Council banquet honoring the undefeated football team. Some pictorial highlights of that gay occasion will be found on the next two pages.
