Despite its precarious location deep within enemy territory, the Dartmouth Club at Harvard is well on its way toward another highly successful year. The Club's annual reception following the Big Green-Black Umbrella football game was the best in history with over 1200 happy celebrants in attendance. Some of the money raised by the affair has been donated to the Boston Association's scholarship fund while the remainder is being used to raise local Dartmouth spirits (by the consumption of same). Three cocktail parties for all Dartmouth alumni in the Harvard area have been held so far and another one is planned for the early spring.
Club members are keeping busy too. President Al Danson '60, while waiting for job offers from top law firms throughout the country, is working on ski-patrol at Stowe over the weekends. The rest of us are working on whatever we can find in the Boston area and on trying to- stay in graduate school (or out of the Army - whichever way you want to look at it). Some are meeting with more than limited success; JerryKaminsky '61 was named a Baker Scholar at Harvard Business School, and Ed Cooper '62 and Owen Fiss '59 have made Law Review here at the legal factory. Yours truly even managed to pass a required Accounting course, so all in all it looks like a great year for the Big Green during their brief stay in Purgatory.
