TOM DENT CABIN
DECEMBER 1964

The new Tom Dent Memorial Cabin is now completed and being used by student, faculty, and staff groups. Located on the banks of the Connecticut River near the Dartmouth Rowing Club, just north of Ledyard Bridge, the cabin honoring the man who coached Dartmouth soccer and lacrosse for 36 years has a large lounge room, with fireplace, a den also with a fireplace, and a kitchen with stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator.

When Tom Dent retired in 1960 friends and former team members contributed to a special cabin fund. After his death in 1962, memorial gifts were added and the construction of the cabin was made possible. The cabin with a capacity of 25 persons is ideally suited for small social gatherings, group and class meetings, and is available to all officially recognized College groups.
