Link Daniels, Bethesda, Md. - "Am working for U.S. Government as special consultant to the President's Committee on Juvenile Delinquency and Youth Crime, which has a program of federal grants and technical help to cities and towns to prevent juvenile delinquency, expand youth employment opportunities and reduce school drop-outs. The only classmate I see is George Collins who is a management consultant with Ernst & Ernst here in Washington. ..."
Harry Gilmore, Manchester, N. H. - "Ed Brown, Johnny Lyle, Spike Fulton and I were all poised to cream the Class of '33 team in the annual alumni slalom scheduled for March 15 at the Dartmouth Skiway. Unfortunately a thaw set in and the event was cancelled. ... Saw several old faithfuls, including Rodman and Gilbert, at Boston Alumni Fund dinner. ... Ran into Bill Judd at January meeting of American Society of Corporate Secretaries..."
William G. Gilmore 3rd, Scottsdale, Ariz. - "Had short visits recently from MoeFrankel and Em Day. ... Had dinner couple weeks ago with John Bathrick's daughter, Susan, who married a cousin of Noraia's." (We had lunch with the übiquitous Frankel in Detroit not long ago and enjoyed a 7-Up with equally übiquitous Day in New York.)
George Ham, Chapel Hill, N. C. - "Daughter Susan, a senior at Wisconsin; spent junior year at University of Aix en Provence. Son George C. Jr., a sophomore at Amherst; varsity soccer, double quartet, Chi Phi, Smith, etc. George C. Sr. - after last year's research leave of absence at Centre for Advanced Study in Behavioral Science, Palo Alto, and seven months in laboratories in Europe, has resigned as chairman of Department of Psychiatry at University of North Carolina after 12 years. Remains professor and is in private practice."
Gene Orsenigo, Chappaqua, N. Y. - "Daughter #1 expecting her second son, which makes me wonder why I continue living with a grandmother (and liking it, too). Daughter #2 is being graduated from Manhattanville College this spring and then into teaching. Daughter #3 graduates from high school and then to college in September. Son Gene III (at last) a sophomore at Greeley High; good prospect for Dartmouth basketball, 6' 1" and captain of the J.V. team. P.S. And after 27 years, my wife (Nina) is still putting up with me. ..."

The late Jack O'Brien's boy, Dennis, a Holy Cross senior, winner of a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship (full tuition and fees for first year of graduate study plus $1,800 stipend and allowances for dependents). Dennis, a math major, plans to take his graduate work at the University of California at Berkeley or at Harvard. ...
Herb Heston, Director of Development at Smith, selected as one of five college representatives at a development seminar for independent schools this summer at Northfield and Mount Hermon Schools. They'll examine methods for increasing gift incomes. (Which reminds us - Remember the Dartmouth Alumni Fund!)
Henry Allen moves up to group vice president in charge of A. O. Smith Corporation's Industrial Products Divisions. Seems like it was less than a year ago that Hank was made vice president and general manager of the firm - and it was. His new responsibilities put him in charge of divisions in Cleveland, Milwaukee and Erie, Pa. He joined Smith firm in 1945 and has served in accounting and administrative jobs, including administrative manager of Electric Motor Division. ...

Bill Wilson's daughter, Deborah Lynn, betrothed to David Foster Pierpont of Waterbury, Conn. Deb is a student at Plymouth (N.H.) State College, as is her groom-to-be. . . . A late summer wedding.
Good neighbor Laurie Herman's daughter, Deborah Ann, engaged to good neighbor David Leon Drury of Birmingham, Mich. David is a cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan where Debbie is a senior. June wedding. Incidentally, Debbie can claim a truly exceptional Dartmouth heritage — 11 Dartmouth members of the family, including (besides dad Laurie), grandfather Earl Leslie Herman '04, maternal grandfather John Harvey Dingle '10 and brother Laurie Jr. '62.
The late Orv Dryfoos' daughter, Jacqueline Hays, engaged to Stuart Prince Greenspon. Jackie, a student at Barnard College; Stuart a graduate of Duke University and Columbia Graduate School of Business, is with Chase National Bank, New York. Summer wedding.
