New York Club Offers Coupon Books
FEBRUARY 1965

Dartmouth alumni, visiting New York City, may now avail themselves of the facilities of the Dartmouth Club of New York under a new plan recently introduced by the Club.

Visiting alumni register at the reception desk, which is located at the main entrance door, by signing their name, class and address in the guest book. They may then purchase coupon books at $3.00 or $5.00 each, and coupons may be exchanged for beverages or food at the Club.

Since non-members may not sign checks or use cash at the Dartmouth Club, the coupon books are a convenient way for out-of-town alumni to make use of Club when in New York.

The coupon-book plan, introduced several months ago, has worked extremely well according to Jim McKeon, Club manager. "We want all alumni to know that a warm welcome awaits them at the Dartmouth Club of New York," he said. "Guests are welcome to use all our facilities including the bar and dining rooms, and our shower and bathroom facilities as well as the reading lounges and TV room."

The Dartmouth Club of New York is located on the mezzanine of the Hotel Commodore, immediately adjacent to Grand Central Station. The Club is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and luncheon is served from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m. in the Club dining room. Private dining rooms for groups of from five to 25 may be reserved in advance through Manager McKeon.
