Fidelity Bankers Life Insurance Company has announced the promotion of Bob Miskimon from vice president and medical director to the executive division of the company. Bob has been on the company staff since 1956, living in Richmond, Va. He has had an active career in private practice as a specialist in internal medicine and in administrative and industrial medicine. Among other duties he has been medical director for the City of Richmond Employees' Medical Service, serving the city's 4,000 employees.
In Greenfield, Mass., the local paper reports that Lt. Col. Art Ruggles has reported for his annual tour of active duty as information officer at Westover AFB. Just in case any of you forget how time is passing, the article points out that Art is completing his 23rd year with the Air Force. When not busy with the military, he coaches soccer, skiing, and lacrosse at Deerfield, and operates a ski shop of his own.
Ed Doremus' wife Janet passed away on March 15.
Bob Kenney, who once described himself as a chemist gone astray, has been appointed by B. F. Goodrich Chemical Company to a newly-created position of vice president-International. He will be responsible for his company's international sales and foreign licensing. He joined the company in 1944 as manager of international service and has worked in the international chemical field ever since. He is a director of B. F. Goodrich chemical associate companies in Great Britain, The Netherlands, Mexico and Australia.
Fran Fenn was elected to the Board of the Dime Savings Bank in Hartford a few weeks ago. Bob Woodruff has moved from St. Louis to Greenwich, Conn., and is manager, Eastern Public Relations, for the Monsanto company.
The Alumni Records office reports that John Daniels has been in Iran on a government mission, and that Pat O'Sheel, formerly consul at Kaduna in Nigeria, is now the State Department's man in Pretoria, South Africa.
