The Association held its annual meeting Wednesday, April 7, at the Edina Country Club with approximately 100 alumni and their wives in attendance. The main speaker at the meeting was Dean Thaddeus Seymour of the College who made one of his usual outstanding presentations.

Miss Gertrude Jacobsen, recently retired secretary to the treasurer of the Association, Lyman E. Wakefield Jr. '33, was given an award by the Association for her outstanding service throughout the years in caring for the books and financial records of the Association.

Judge James D. Rogers '51, Hopkins, was elected president to succeed Richard McFarland '51, outgoing president. William Thayer'49, Minneapolis, was elected vice-president. Lyman E. Wakefield Jr. '33 was re-elected treasurer, and John Donnelly '57 was reelected secretary of the Association.

Through the efforts of John B. FaegreJr. '33 the Northwest Regional Scholarship Fund has reached new heights in its efforts to provide funds to assist men going to the college, and a very active enrollment program is being conducted by the Association.

Robert E. Krieger '41 was nominated to replace Stuart L. MacPhail '40 as the area's representative on the Alumni Council.
