The leaves have fallen from the trees and storm windows have come out of hiding once more. The Big Green has already had a better season than most loyal alums anticipated and another Dartmouth Night has gone into the record books. This year the Green Men of Minnesota had the pleasure of Hamm's Taproom and all the beer necessary to make Dartmouth men feel at home. Fatso Krieger '41 had the good fortune to see his old roommate, Skinny Norton '41, again and the third member of the now famous trio, Nick Carter '41, was also on hand. Credit should be given to a recent returnee (back to make his mark on the legal profession) Tom Keller '57, for putting on an excellent evening. Fred Wenck '28, of Chicago, managed once again to arrange business to coincide with our little gathering ... one could write a book on his attendance at our Northwest Alumni get-togethers.

Several men have either returned to the area or are moving into our ranks for the first time. These include Tom Whittenberg '55 - now a student at the U of M; Dave Strieker '55 - with M & O Paper Co.; John Sweetland '49 — (a Bostonian) with Hamilton and Associates; Tom Keller '57 mentioned above; Bob Morris '59 - with Minneapolis-Honeywell; Tom McBurney '60 — also Honeywell; Doug Stevenson '56 (Wisconsin) Northwestern Bank: and probably many more that we have omitted.

The progress of our recruiting program thus far lias been directly proportionate to the amount of time spent by all of us. Anyway Jim Rogers' organization is in motion and the assistance of more men is needed. For those of you who haven't volunteered, your help can be used.
