The Birth of a Board.

WDCR, which has been operating under the Trustees through the Council on Student Organizations, now has its very own Board of Overseers. Established by President Dickey, the new WDCR Board of Overseers includes the student directorate of the radio station and representatives of the Dean's Office, the Treasurer's Office, and the News Service.

Newly appointed to one-year terms of office as non-student members are Dean Thaddeus Seymour, Assistant to the Treasurer John Bryant, and News Service Director George O'Connell. The board will approve matters of general station policy for subsequent submission to the President, review the annual budget for presentation to the Treasurer, and offer help when needed in matters of College and community relationships.
