Ten new administrative officers, five of them in the Office of Development, began work for the College this fall, replacing men who had left the College or filling newly created posts.

The five newcomers now listed in the College directory as Associate, Office of Development, are H. Allan Dingwall Jr. '42 (Executive Secretary of the Dartmouth Arts Council), formerly director of broadcast planning for General Foods; David T. Eckels '44 (general fund raising), who comes from duties as Frozen Food Manager for Alfred Lewis, Inc., Northridge, Calif.; W. Lansing Reed '47 (general fund raising), formerly in sales management with the Aluminum Company of America in Oakland, Calif.; David K. Martin '54 (Alumni Fund), formerly press aide to Colorado Congressman Roy McVicker; and Fred J. Simmons T'66 (planning and proposals), a former banker from Hartford, Conn.

Dr. Howard C. Kramer, Counselor in the Office of Student Counseling, who earned his Ph.D. at the University of Nebraska, replaces Professor of Psychology Emeritus Robert M. Bear. John Goyette '60, Business Manager of the Hopkins Center, formerly with the Southern New England Telephone Company, takes over the duties of Thomas E. Byrne '55, who has been named Assistant Director of the new Kiewit Computation Center.

Colonel Philip G. Krueger, recently retired as commanding officer of the U. S. Army's Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory in Hanover, has been named Administrative Officer for the Physical Sciences Departments. The new administrator at Tuck School is John R. Allbee '59, who succeeds William Barnet '64 (now an officer in the U. S. Army) as Admissions Officer. Allbee, a Tuck graduate also, has been associated with the Atlantic Refining Co.

Another new arrival on campus is Clarence M. Burrill, who has been named Director of Employee Relations. He will oversee the personnel relations of the College and its auxiliary organizations with buildings and grounds, custodial, and dining hall employees as well as technicians, secretarial, and clerical staff. He was personnel manager of Scott & Williams, Inc., of Laconia, N. H.
