A nice long letter was received from Jack Andrews Jr. giving more news about his mother. A clipping was enclosed reading in part as follows: Mrs. Edith Eddy Andrews, 86, widow of Jack Andrews, both residents of Wellesley Hills, Mass., from 1920 to 1940, died in Maryville, Tenn., on November 27, 1965. Jack continues that his mother had a series of strokes that paralyzed her. He was in Tennessee for her 86th birthday but he did not think she knew who he was. "Mother and Dad had such wonderful friends in the Class of 1901 I knew she would want me to send them all her best regards. She left us a wonderful message and many wonderful memories.

"My sister Janet is active in politics and is president of the Unitarian-Universalist church in Maryville. My brother Chuck just celebrated his 25th year as captain in American Airlines. I have just completed 38 years with the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company and have been the personnel superintendent for the western division at Springfield, Mass., since 1947. I have been president of the Springfield Ski Club (5000 members) and since 1959 president of the Urban League of Springfield."

Christmas cards from Dorothy, widow of James B. McIntyre and Dorothea, widow of James S. Smith and from Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. McGovern, are acknowledged with thanks.

From Beulah, widow of Roswell C. Bogue, "I am so happy that you are still doing the job of 1901 secretary. Everything is fine with me and I hope the same with you. Wish I had something exciting to write about. The only important item (business-wise) this last year is that our building was completely revamped all office space. It was not pleasurable for us but I guess the end justified the annoyance. If you ever drive this way be sure to call me. May Christmas and its blessings be yours."
