Clayton H. Fowler's widow Hazel answers the card requesting news, in part as follows: "The card was much appreciated and it is nice to know that one is not forgotten. I have been in Wilmington, Del., for the past sixteen years living with my daughter Patricia, who works for the du Pont Company here. My special hobby is baseball and we enjoy many of the games in Philadelphia and in Clearwater when in Florida. I also enjoy bridge, rug making, needle point, etc. In summer we usually go to New Hampshire for our vacation, two years ago we spent a few days in Hanover which has really changed over the years."
A note from Bernice, widow of Harlan F.Curtis, in part: "Harlan was ill for his last ten years, too sick to take much interest in the Class or College. So I hope you will understand my position. I do try to keep Dartmouth men in mind and watch the games. I have been here at the nursing home only a short time. Thank you for the new directory and for your interest in a lone widow."
From Maude, widow of Sidney C. Harding, in part: "I was most interested to receive the new directory and although we did not attend reunions we became very fond of Rush and Fannie Newcomb in Winter Park, Fla., 1948 to 1955. Sidney re- turned here (St. Johnsbury, Vt.) in '47 after 38 years of being superintendent of schools in Vermont. In '55 he met with his fatal accident at his farm. Since then I have remained in the same apartment. Have been active in church affairs (Methodist), belong to and work for the Hospital Aid Society, Past Matrons' Club, and a bridge club. I spend several weeks at my camp in West Danville in summer where I do painting and care for the grounds. Have had twelve trips to the hospital for surgery, including two auto accidents, the latest in '62. I can see that time is beginning to catch up with me. Still drive my car (I was not driving when we had accidents). I have one son who is Dean of Vermont College. Two grandsons in U.V.M. and a granddaughter in high school. I was a school teacher for several years and taught a boys' Sunday School class for sixteen years and loved it all. As for hobbies, I guess one might say they are reading, contract, and just keeping busy."

From Stevie Stevens' Marion in part: "I came late to '01 but my admiration for the spirit of that class is very great. I hope that you and Elsie are reasonably well and like the rest of us octogenarians facing life with your 'chins up.' " We are. Marion, and looking forward to our 65th reunion.
