The Long Island Alumni Association re- cently held its annual football highlights dinner at Felices Restaurant with the film of the recent undefeated season. President Larry Schwartz '58 announced that a repeat of the highly successful raffle for the L. I. Scholarship Fund would be held during the spring. The annual beach party under the able guidance of Ed Greenberger '52 will be held on Sunday, June 26 this year. We have been dispossessed but Ed is negotiating for a new location.

In March the club held a reception at the home of Mike Pender '47 to honor one of the founders of the club, Art Keleher '27. A large group of alumni and wives on hand to bid Art farewell. Art recently retired from the New York City school system and bought a home in Dunedin, Fla. Art was one of the originators of the club's famed TOMAHAWK award and he himself was the recipient of a TOMAHAWK at the club's 25th anniversary dinner in November, 1964. The recent reception was attended by many past presidents of the club and many of the members of the class of 1927. The highlight of the affair came when Art was presented with the first honorary life membership in the club ever given. Art and Marion will be missed by us all.
