The activity in the months of January February, and March has followed in the pattern of the fall months. Dinners were held by the classes 1928 and 1916, The classes of 1918, 1935, and 1919 held luncheons. In January the Department of Physics alumni held a successful cocktail party.
A wine tasting of the fine wines of California was held in March. This was wonderfully presented under the skillful guidance of Bob Misch '25. In case you didn't know it, Bob is a Chevalier du Tastevin, a member of the Wine Committee of the State Department, a consultant to the Wine Institute and a consultant to the White House. We've had many wine tastings but Bob is the greatest.
On March 30 the kickoff dinner for the Class Agents in the New York area was held in the Hotel Commodore. As a result the club was very active with the V.I.P.'s of the college and of all classes.
The interviewing committees were busy in the clubhouse during February and March; Ralph Smith '46, Henry Werner '34,Ted Douglas '45, and Craig Murphy '51 were a few of the alumni giving of their time to this cause.
The club doors were open to the following visiting alumni: Harry T. Newcomb '60, Palo Alto, Calif.; Archie Mallon '39, Lyndon Center, Ill.; D. T. Knudsen '65, Lafayette, Calif.; John DeGraff '50, Albany, N. Y.; Dick Spong '36, Washington, D.
