Station WDCR Publishes Newsletter for Alumni
MAY 1966

The first issue of the WDCR Alumni NewsFlash has just come off the press. According to Program Director Robert M. Cohn '66, originator of the idea, this is not a fundraising scheme but merely a method of informing former Dartmouth radio broadcasters of the progress that WDCR is making and the changes that are occurring in the station's operations.

The initial issue explains the details of the WDCR Dartmouth football network, the first season of summer broadcasting, the operation of the new emergency broadcasting station in Hopkins Center, and the past year's financial statement - which is quite a contrast to those of ten or more years ago.

The newsletter is being distributed free to all interested alumni. The station staff has compiled a preliminary mailing list of former members whose names and addresses were readily available. Former members of WDCR or WDBS who have not yet received the News Flash, or any other interested alumni, are urged to send their names and addresses to Alumni News, WDCR, Box 1032, Hanover, N. H. If the general response to the idea is favorable, the station expects to publish this newsletter on a regular basis once each term.
