Richard K. Fox begins dual duties this month as director of the College's Peace Corps training programs and assistant to Dean Charles F. Dey '52 of the William Jewett Tucker Foundation.
Formerly executive director of South-eastern Vermont Community Action, Inc. of Bellows Falls, Mr. Fox administered a program to eliminate poverty in Windham and Windsor Counties. He is a 1960 graduate of Brown University, where he majored in philosophy and religion, and has done graduate work at the Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, Calif.
The new College official has also been a consultant in the production of educational films on schools for the handicapped and a teacher of mathematics and religion at Vermont Academy. Mr. and Mrs. Fox and their two children will move to Hanover from Saxtons River, Vt., where he has served as an official for both town and village.
Dean Dey, in announcing the appointment, added, "Mr. Fox brings to the Tucker Foundation an impressive combination of field and administrative experience immediately and directly relevant to pressing social and moral issues of our time."
