With a new coach - Quentin P. Currie, who also coaches the freshman football line - and a rash of new wrestlers, the team was picking up experience as opponents were gaining victories.

The sole Dartmouth winner in the first two meets was Jonas Johnson '69 of Jamestown, N. Y., who won heavyweight division matches with pins against Coast Guard Academy and Brown.
