As I write this column it is March 1 and what a wonderful day in Stowe, Vt. We have beautiful new snow in great quantity and bright, sunny weather which should give us outstanding March skiing.
Don't forget the Class Officers' meeting which will be held in Hanover Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13. All class officers should plan on holding those dates for a program which will supply helpful workshops, interesting reports by college officers, and a full discussion of some imaginative new proposals designed to strengthen class activities. The announcement of the meeting indicates that it is a welcome addition.
Announcements are also out for Alumni Fund Class Agents' Workshops. By the time this column reaches you, if you are in the West you can plan on attending the Los Angeles meeting, Thursday, April 6, 1967; the San Francisco meeting, Friday, April 7, 1967, or the Seattle meeting, Saturday, April 8, 1967. President John Sloan Dickey and Ralph Lazarus '35, chairmen of the Alumni Fund drive will be present at all meetings.
Wall Street's Bache & Co. has elected Peter Bernard a vice president. Before going to work for this worldwide investment firm in 1959, he earned an M.B.A. at Tuck School and served two years as a Naval officer. Peter is a member of the firm's underwriting department and is a syndicate manager. He is a former board member of the Investment Association of New York and is currently serving as a member of its advisory council.

Bill Miles, an assistant vice-president of the First National Bank of Boston, a captain in the Air Force Reserve and a post Dartmouth New York University Graduate School of Business Administration alumnus, has further distinguished himself by becoming engaged to Miss Lynne Pennington of Pittsburgh, Pa. Lynne is an alumna of Wells College.
Schach Van Steenberg has joined the United States Trust Company of New York as an assistant vice president. He will be a senior account executive in the Pension Department of the Investment Division. Prior to his new appointment, he was with Bankers Trust Company as an assistant vice president handling corporate pension funds. Schach and Margaret and their two boys and two girls live in Westport,
Conn. Bob Wardwell of 245 Beech Street, Norwood, Mass., has recently joined the Waverley Insurance Agency as an account executive. Bob is married to the former loan Murray and they have three sons.
Pete Conroy of West Hartford, Conn., has been made a partner in the law firm of Kenny, Brimmer and Kenny at 5 Grand Street in Hartford. Before going into private practice Pete was with the Internal Revenue Service for six years in New York City winding up as chief of the legal section of the Collection Division.
Word has recently reached me that we have another winner in the political ranks of our class. Roil MacKenzie beat a veteran incumbent in Woburn, Mass., for the 7th District Senate seat in Massachusetts.
Jon A. Robarge of Springfield, Mass., has recently been placed in charge of installment loan operations in the Westfield office of Third National Bank of Hampden County. Jon, and his wife Julie, live at 63 Longhill Street and he has been with the bank for several years.
Those of us who are former summer visitors to Cape Cod are pleased to learn that Peter Fay has recently been transferred to Otis Air Force Base from Truax Air Force Base in Madison, Wis. Peter and his wife have purchased a home at Saconesset Hills. Peter and Leana have spent much time on the Cape in former years and are both pleased to be back there in conjunction with Pete's official duties as an Air Force captain. They met at Popponesset on the Cape; were married in France and his daughter, now five, was born in Holland.
