Phil James, 39 Susan Lane, North Haven, Conn., recently served as a vice chairman of the central division of the United FundRed Cross campaign. Newspapers went on to say that Phil is with the Southern New England Telephone Company, a member of the North Haven Jaycees and the fire department. Let's hear from all the firemen in the class! Foster Aborn is serving the greater Pittsburgh area as an assistant vice president at Mellon National Bank and Trust Company. Foster has been with the bank since September 1957, a graduate of their management development program; he also has an MBA from Tuck School.
Wood Sutton was recently promoted at Boston Insulated Wire and Cable Company. He is involved in the division of the company which manufactures specialty cables for heat and radiation resistance, underwater service, and space program purposes.
A recent clipping crossing my desk carried a picture of the attractive Mrs. JohnFrederick Devine Jr. Their wedding took place in August at Sayville, N. Y.
Bob Grossman was a recent contributor, serving in the capacity as executive director, to a report of the Legislature Commission on low income housing in Illinois. Their report, entitled "For Better Housing In Illinois," acknowledges the role of Bob as draftsman of the report and provider of the cohesive leadership which made the success of the Commission possible.
Howie Sodokoff of Putnam Green, Conn., has been named assistant to the treasurer at Chase Manhattan Bank of New York.
The Class Executive Committee held its fall meeting in Hanover before the football game on October 14. Hopkins Center was the scene and the agenda was an interesting one.
