On a balmy Sunday afternoon, the Dartmouth Glee Club performed before a large, enthusiastic audience of Dartmouth alumni and friends. Following the concert, a buffet was held at the Carling Brewing Company for Dartmouth hosts and Glee Club members. Many thought this concert was one of the most original and refreshing ever to visit our city.
Cleveland is preparing for the visit of Professor John G. Kemeny, renowned mathematician, who will speak at the alumni banquet on Tuesday night, May 16. Be sure to mark this date on your calendar. Professor Kemeny is one of the foremost mathematicians in the world.
President Dickey launched the 1967 Alumni Fund at the Hollenden House Motel, where a luncheon attended by class agents and class officers was held for this event. Mr. Dickey gave a most stimulating speech, reviewing the many developments at Dartmouth over the past fifteen years, leading up to the celebration of the 200th Anniversary in 1969.
